NFL 2020 Power Ranking – Week 3: champion regains power, AFC East on the rise

On Wednesdays on TDActu, it’s Power Ranking! 3, 2, 1, Go!

We are starting to see a little more clearly. First lesson of the week, the Power Ranking has a new number one. Very close since the start of the season, Ravens and Chiefs have come out on a regular basis on the field Monday night. The reigning champion emerged victorious and it is logically that he takes the lead in the standings. In the rest, the AFC East has the wind in its sails (except for the Jets) with the victories of New England, Buffalo and Miami.

The Patriots also posted the strongest progression of the week (+5), as did the still undefeated Bears. Conversely, Washington and Arizona recorded the biggest drop (-4).

Time passes, it’s time to take stock. Here is our ranking. This hierarchy is not only based on the number of successes, but also on the form of the moment. If two teams are close and haven’t played each other recently, one wonders which one would win if the match was played today. Beating the strongest isn’t going to propel you to the top in a snap. Losing to one of the dunces won’t plunge you into the Abyss, either. You can win and tumble, bow and climb.

It is the merciless law of Power Ranking …

1. Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) +1

Boss Mahomes takes back his throne.

Week 4: Patriots reception.

2. Green Bay Packers (3-0) +2

Without Adams, Aaron Rodgers relied on Lazard.

Week 4: reception of the Falcons.

3. Baltimore Ravens (2-1) -2

In 22 starts, Lamar Jackson has lost only 4 regular season games. Three of them face the Chiefs of Mahomes. It looks like a pet peeve.

Week 4: trip to Washington Football Team.

4. Seattle Seahawks (3-0)

DK needed coffee to wake up.

Week 4: trip to the Dolphins.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0)

TJ Watt was neither fooled by his brother nor by Deshaun Watson

Week 4: trip to the Titans.

6. Buffalo Bills (3-0) +2

The Bills attack saved the defense. It’s the world upside down in Buffalo.

Week 4: trip to the Raiders.

7. Tennessee Titans (3-0) +3

We admit, we doubted Gostkowski after his 4 missed kicks in week 1. Since then, he has scored three field goals for the win … in three games.

Week 4: Reception of the Steelers.

8. New England Patriots (2-1) +6

When we tell the Patriots that the Chiefs are on the program next week.

Week 4: trip to the Chiefs.

9. New Orleans Saints (1-1) -2

The Saints lost, yet they had Kamara in points.

Week 4: trip to the Lions.

10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) +2

The attack on TOMpa Bay begins to get under way.

Week 4: reception of the Chargers.

11. Arizona Cardinals (2-1) -5

Kyler Murray threw 3 interceptions, but we will rather take advantage of that.

Week 4: trip to the Panthers.

12. Los Angeles Rams (2-1) -2

Quite simply, unstoppable.

Week 4: Giants reception.

13. Indianapolis Colts (2-1) +3

16 points for defense is almost as much as offense.

Week 4: trip to the Bears.

14. Dallas Cowboys (1-2) -2

The defense must at least give Dak Prescott a chance.

Week 4: Reception of the Browns.

15. San Francisco 49ers (2-1) -2

Winning with Team B must have done Kyle Shanahan some good. With the Eagles and Dolphins in the next two weeks, the manager has plenty to see.

Week 4: Reception of the Eagles.

16. Las Vegas Raiders (2-1) -2

2 receptions for 9 yards, it was Darren Wallou Sunday.

Week 4: receipt of Bills.

17. Chicago Bears (3-0)+6

The Bears just got on the roller coaster, they have to prepare for some crazy thrills. For now, they’re upstairs… for now.

Week 4: reception of the Colts.

18. Houston Texans (0-3) -1

Since 2002, only one team has reached the playoffs after a 0-3 record: the Texans in 2018. Bis repetita?

Week 4: reception of the Vikings.

19. Cleveland Browns (2-1) +2

The Browns hadn’t scored 30 or more points in a row since 2010.

Week 4: trip to the Cowboys.

20. Minnesota Vikings (0-3) -2

Zimmer can no longer orchestrate the defense as he was able to do so well. This squad goes on wrong notes.

Week 4: travel to the Texans.

21. Philadelphia Eagles (0-2-1) -2

For Doug Pederson there is no quarterback problem. Still, Carson Wentz has the worst rating in the league (63.9). At this rate, we just wonder which of the two will be ousted first.

Week 4: move to the 49ers.

22. Cincinnati Bengals (0-2-1) +5

First draw for a quarterback who is far from being.

Week 4: reception of the Jaguars.

23. Detroit Lions (1-2) +5

Matt Stafford + Matt Prater = victory for Matt Patricia. All in all, a good calculation from Matt.

Week 4: reception of the Saints.

24. Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) -4

Like every year, the Chargers appear to be on AC.

Week 4: trip to the Buccaneers.

25. Atlanta Falcons (0-3) -3

As if the players want Dan to quit.

Week 4: trip to the Packers.

26. Carolina Panthers (1-2) +3

First Panthers win: everything is rolling for Matt.

Week 4: reception of the Cardinals.

27. Miami Dolphins (1-2) +3

For that alone, we don’t want to see Tua yet.

Week 4: Seahawks reception.

28. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) -4

Without Chark, dolphins are dominant in Florida.

Week 4: trip to the Bengals.

29. Denver Broncos (0-3) -3

Is the new quarterback a talented mr. Rypien?

Week 4: trip to the Jets.

30. Washington Football Team (1-2) -5

Ron Rivera is starting to get fed up with Dwayne Haskins.

Week 4: reception of the Ravens.

31. New York Giants (0-3)

The Giants can at least reassure themselves by telling themselves that they have the best team … in New York.

Week 4: trip to the Rams.

32. New York Jets (0-3)

At the moment, it is only Sam Darnold to pass Xavier Rhodes for the best cornerback in the league.

Week 4: reception of the Broncos.
