More than 270 Santander women signed up to learn how to defend themselves against attacks

In this regard, the director of InderSantander, Pedro Carrillo, stated that “with the registration of more than 270 people, this Saturday we started the personal defense program for women and the LGBT community.”

Carrillo said that those registered will access training in Karate, Taekwondo, Judo and Fight.

The official indicated that “the idea is for women to become certified and learn to react and defend themselves in a situation of possible danger.”

Classes will continue in the Olympic Village of the Alfonso López Stadium every Saturday at 10:00 am

As reported, there will be theoretical and practical training given by the teachers of the different leagues of these sports in Santander.
