MLB lifts some COVID19 restrictions on players and staff

Society is gradually returning to ‘normality’ after the health contingency that has been going on for several months now. This is also affecting baseball and thanks to vaccination in the United States the Major League Baseball (MLB) has decided to lift some measures against the coronavirus (COVID-19) among its players and staff.

Major League Baseball (MLB) announced in the last hours that it has decided to relax certain measures against the coronavirus among its players and its coaching staff to little by little return to normality.

MLB reported that players and staff who are fully vaccinated can stop the use of masks in dugouts, bullpens and clubhouses, as part of the regulations that have been repealed.

In addition, those who have already completed the corresponding vaccination process will be able to eat in restaurants without any restrictions as well as attend sporting events as spectators.

For those who have not yet been vaccinated or have the full doses, it was reported that they will still have to use masks but that it will not be considered a violation of the rules if they are removed to drink or eat.

The so-called ‘new normal’ is becoming more and more present in MLB baseball, especially as a large part of the teams that make it up have decided to open their respective stadiums to 100% of their full capacity.
