Sebastian Rudy will apparently sign a new contract with TSG Hoffenheim. After the midfielder terminated his contract with FC Schalke 04 a few days ago, he has now, according to ‘kicker’, reached an agreement with the Kraichgauer on a two-year contract.
According to the report, the remuneration should be greatly reduced compared to his salary at Schalke. The 31-year-old was rewarded with the rumored four million euros annual salary at the Royal Blues. In Hoffenheim, Rudy was already on the pitch between 2010 and 2017 and on loan in the past two seasons. In total, he has already completed 280 competitive games for TSG in his career.
Especially from Italy, there is said to have recently been interest in a transfer-free commitment by the 31-year-old. AS Roma, SSC Napoli and FC Bologna put out feelers for the former German international. However, it is now almost certain that he will remain in his familiar environment at TSG.
