Maxence Broyer becomes coach of Rueil-Malmaison

This will be the first experience as the head coach of a professional team for Maxence Broyer (31 years). Former assistant to Rémy Valin in Denain, in Pro B, the young tactician has chosen Rueil-Malmaison (NM1) as his new home. It was the Ile-de-France club which announced it on its Facebook account on Monday.

Former hopeful player in Chalon-sur-Saône, in the late 2000s and early 2010s, Maxence Broyer then coached the hopes of the Burgundy club between 2013 and 2016. The following year, he became a coach especially for the former hope of Nancy, Jonathan Jeanne, before joining the hopes of Nanterre. Then in 2019, to join the North, in Denain, for two years. Under Valin and Broyer, the Dragons finished the regular season in a nice 5th place.

For its part, Rueil-Malmaison experienced one of its worst seasons since joining National 1, during the 2011-2012 season. The RAC ranked 10th, with 11 wins and 15 losses. Makan Dioumassi left the place of coach, allowing Maxence Broyer to seize the opportunity.
