Luzardo was sent to Triple-A Las Vegas

The Oakland Athletics’ patience with Jesus Luzardo ran out. The pitcher was sent to Triple-A on Monday, where they hope he will rejoin his dominance.

Luzardo started the season in the rotation and had left a good feeling. However, he suffered a small fracture in his left hand, when he hit while playing a video game, and from then on everything was different.

The pitcher entered the disabled list and missed practically the entire month of May. Upon his return, the team reactivated him as a reliever, hoping that he would regain his rhythm and return to the rotation.

But instead of evolving, he has lived a real nightmare on the mound.

In seven appearances and 10 relief innings, he has allowed six home runs and 11 earned runs. After the first three weeks of June, his effectiveness was 11.00.

Several US media have advanced that it could possibly stay in “reworking leagues.”
