Jhonattan Vegas finishes with four birdies and an eagle in the Palmetto tournament

Caracas.- Jhonattan Vegas was ready to face the US Open that begins this Thursday in San Diego, by winning second place in the Palmetto Championship, a PGA Tour tournament that ended this Sunday in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Vegas handed out a Sunday card of 67 contacts (-4) to complete 274, only surpassed by the 273 touches of South African champion Garrick Higgo, who took his first title on the most important golf circuit in the world.

The Venezuelan golfer made four birdies and an eagle in a final day in which he had just two bogeys.

Vegas, who will be the representative of Venezuela in the Tokyo Olympic Games, developed a fluid and precise golf throughout the four days of this Palmetto Championship.
