Izagirre was already a national time trial champion in 2016, and repeats the experience of winning the gold medal thanks to a time of 40:19, just one second better than the Catalan David De la Cruz (40:20), silver medal, and the young Carlos Rodríguez (41: 07), bronze.

With a time of 35:28, Mavi García surpassed Sara Martín in 30 seconds, who repeats gold in the U-23 category and silver in the global calculation, while third and bronze was Lourdes Oyarbide, from the Movistar Team, with a time of 36:47, plus a minute from Garcia.
