Inzaghi wants to bring Caicedo to Inter to help Lukaku

The new Inter Milan coach, Simone Inzaghi, is reportedly looking for a cover for Romelu Lukaku. Felipe Caicedo became a wanted player.

Inzaghi has been officially appointed as coach of Inter Milan a few days ago to replace Antonio Conte. The younger brother of Filippo Inzaghi has a two-year contract.

Before officially becoming Inter coach, Inzaghi managed to convince Lukaku not to leave. The Belgian striker looks set to return to being a mainstay of Inter in the next season.

Lukaku will certainly carry a big burden as Inter’s predator in the opponent’s penalty box. In order to keep his players fit for a season, Inzaghi wants to find a suitable coating.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Inzaghi wanted Caicedo to Inter. The 32-year-old Ecuadorian is the ideal figure for a back-up.

Inzaghi was no stranger to Caideo. The two have worked together for four seasons at Lazio.

Luis Muriel and Duvan Zapata of Atalanta are actually also on the radar, but Caicedo is believed to be a much cheaper alternative.
