Indonesia Vs Thailand, Shin Tae-yong Praises Evan Dimas and the Obedient Squad All

KOMPAS.com – The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, praised Evan Dimas and the Garuda squad’s performance after the Asian Zone’s 2022 World Cup Qualification match against Thailand.

The Indonesia vs Thailand national team match took place at the Al Maktoum Stadium, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Thursday (3/6/2021) night WIB.

As a result, the Indonesian national team managed to hold Thailand to a 2-2 score.

In that match, Shin Tae-yong’s Garuda squad fell behind twice due to goals from Narubadin Weerawatnodom (5′) and Adisak Kraisorn (50′).

However, they continued to rise until they equalized through goals from Kadek Agung (39′) and Evan Dimas (60′).

The South Korean coach praised Evan Dimas when speaking in front of the media, right after the match against Thailand.

Shin Tae-yong specifically said that Evan Dimas is the most experienced player in the Indonesian national team.

The struggles displayed by the Indonesian national team players are in line with Shin Tae-yong’s direction.

Before the match against Thailand, Shin Tae-yong had asked the players to fight, even dared to risk their lives when facing opponents, especially in the continuation of the 2022 World Cup Qualification in the Asian Zone this time.

The draw against Thailand resulted in the first point for the Indonesian national team, which in the previous five matches had always lost.

Although it has been confirmed that they cannot qualify for the next stage, the Garuda Muda squad still has the opportunity to add points.
