Hot! Vietnam defender chokes Indonesian players, passes referee monitoring

Indonesia vs Vietnam match was hot. The Indonesian defender, Pratama Arhan, was strangled by an opposing player but escaped the referee’s watch.

The 7th match of Group G 2022 World Cup Qualification in the Asian Zone between Indonesia vs Vietnam at the Al Maktoum Stadium, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Monday (7/6/2021) was hot. Both teams played hard games.

Primary Arhan himself escaped a yellow card because of his tackle. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese player who pushed the PSIS Semarang defender was also not subject to any sanctions. The game continued, with Vietnam only being awarded a regular free kick after a player was fouled.

Indonesia vs Vietnam match itself was finally won by Vietnam 4-0. All the goals were scored in the second half, respectively through Nguyen Tien Linh, Nguyen Quang Hai, Nguyen Cong Phuong, and Van Thanh Vu.

The victory made the Vietnam national team firmly at the top of Group G with 14 points from 6 matches. The Indonesian national team is the caretaker with one point from 7 matches.
