Hermigua celebrates this Saturday a new day of “sports in the street”

The activity will take place in the Court of the Curato, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be organized by the Sports Department of the City Council

Hermigua will celebrate this Saturday, June 19, a new day of “sports in the street” which, due to the health restrictions caused by Covid-19, will be held at the facilities of the El Curato Sports Center, to facilitate the application of the necessary protocols.

Aimed at all the youth of the municipality, it will provide a different morning with activities designed for all ages, including table tennis, badminton, archery, basketball and hockey competitions, or a car simulator, among others, and all accompanied by background music.

For this, and in order to guarantee safety, the activity will have capacity control and will dispense hydroalcoholic gel at the entrance and exit of the attendees. Likewise, and as is mandatory, the use of the mask will be mandatory at all times, as well as the disinfection of the elements with each use.

With this initiative, “from the City Council we want to offer youth a new day of sport, fun and enjoyable, as a reward for the upcoming end of the school year and that will mark the starting point of a summer, in which we will count with a program of activities for the families of Hermigua ”, pointed out the Councilor for Sports and Deputy Mayor, Jacob Piñero.

Live music is back

Already on Sunday, the City Council resumes the live music concerts with the performance of the Trio Jezzetra. It will be in the Plaza de Santo Domingo de Guzmán, starting at 7:00 p.m., with limited capacity.
