New Sky Sport channels: novità coming up for sports on Sky, that starting from July 1st will have a new proposal and a new numbering of channels, confirming a sports program always full of events and variety of contents, to be experienced also in 4K HDR with Sky Q.
From the 200 al 209, in fact, it will be possible to find the sport of Sky its 10 channels, between confirmations and great news. The same channels will also be visible in streaming su NOW. In particular, already from 28 June, on the occasion of Wimbledon, on 205 Sky Sport Tennis lights up, a channel dedicated to this sport, to tell the stories of the great champions and the golden moment of Italian tennis – with 10 athletes in the top 100 – which fascinates and excites the public more and more.
New Sky Sport channels, the news coming soon
On the 200 it’s confirmed Sky Sport 24 (also on digital terrestrial on channel 481), all news with all the sports news and great insights on all sports, and on 201 Sky Sport One (also on digital terrestrial on channel 472) continues to be the reference channel for sports programming, with a selection of the best events broadcast on Sky.
On the 202 arrives Sky Sport Soccer (also on digital terrestrial channel 473), which will broadcast the Serie A TIM matches, with three co-exclusive matches for each round (Saturday evening, Sunday lunch and Monday evening) for a total of 114 matches per season and those of Serie BKT, while Sky Sport Football (203) will continue to be the home of great international football (Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1), as well as European cups (UEFA Champions League – with 121 matches out of 137 per season – UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League).
Sky Sport Arena (204) will be the channel for golf, rugby, athletics, Major League Baseball, water polo, handball, volleyball and international basketball, starting with the Pre-Olympic men’s tournament in Belgrade, awaiting Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7 DAYS EuroCup from next season. On Sky Sport Arena also martial arts (judo, karate) and the official All Elite Wrestling programs.
The new Sky Sport Tennis, to the canal 205, is the big news, with an extraordinary coverage of the season of this sport that is experiencing a new golden age with the young blues aiming for the top of the world rankings. After the Queen’s ATP 500, the next stop will be the most prestigious tournament of all, Wimbledon. Immediately after it will start again with other major events such as the ATP Masters 1000 (all on Sky Sport Tennis) up to the most awaited of all, the Nitto ATP Finals, which will take place in Italy, in Turin. Without forgetting the stages of the World Padel Tour 2021, with all the best of this sport that is driving Italians crazy.
On the canal 206 it turns on Sky Sport Action, which will be the channel where the main Sky sports will find space in the frequent cases of contemporaneity with other events, as well as a showcase of engines (Formula E, CIV, CEV, DTM Championship and BMW M2 CS Racing Cup Italy), except for Formula 1 and MotoGP, which will continue to have a dedicated schedule respectively on the channels Sky Sport F1 (207) e Sky Sport MotoGP (208).
NBA basketball will also continue to have a channel all to itself on Sky NBA sports (209), with the season of the great American professional basketball entering the decisive phase for the award of the ring, the Finals, at the best of seven games, staged from 8 to 21 July.
