Granada and Breogán define promotion to first basketball in Spain with Argentines

The teams from Covirán Granada and Río Breogán will animate tomorrow the third and last final of the LEB Oro League (second division) basketball championship in Spain, which will be rewarded with a promotion to the ACB.

The match, with Argentine participation, will be held at the Palacio de los Deportes in Granada, starting at 7:00 p.m. local time (2:00 p.m. Argentine time).

The Andalusian team has in its ranks the pivot wing from Santa Fe Alejandro Bortolussi and the Cordovan insider Gonzalo Bressán.

Bortolussi, 32, developed training divisions at Sportivo Náutico Avellaneda and arrived in Spain at the beginning of the century to join the youth ranks of Unicaja Málaga. He then developed an intense career in Spanish promotion basketball.

The former Central Entrerriano player is summoned by coach Daniel Farabello to join the Albiceleste U-19 team that will participate in the Latvian World Cup next July.

In the first game, Granada won 79-53, while the second definition, held in Lugo, favored the Galician team, by a tight 81-78. (Télam)
