Graduation from Stéphane Bega to Albi

On the occasion of the graduation of the president of the Albi Judo Club Stéphane Bega, some members of the French Kata team will be in Albi on the weekend of July 3 and 4. The opportunity also to carry out a first training course for the world championships which will take place in Lisbon from October 23.

We are therefore planning a great day at COSEC for Saturday July 3, with the program: morning training for the French Kata team from 8 a.m. to noon, a training course open to all judo teachers for free upon registration with Stéphane. Bega on 06 20 83 64 09. From 3 pm, the small judokas of the Albigensian club will be in the spotlight and will be given their rank then from 4 pm to 5.30 pm a mass training will take place open to all judokas from Tarn who compete. At 6 p.m., the coach of the France team André Parent will proceed with the graduation of Stéphane Bega in the presence of the mayor of Albi Stéphanie Guiraud – Chaumeil and his first deputy Michel Franques. The day will end with a reception that will allow everyone to participate in a moment of sharing in order to celebrate on this wonderful occasion.

After this first course, the French Kata team will meet again at CREPS in Reims one month before the competition in order to make the final adjustments before the world championships. On the other hand, she will not go to the European Championships scheduled from July in Poland because of the drastic health measures and too complicated to manage as well as the lack of training in this very special period.

For members of the Albi Judo Club, lessons will continue during the month of July at the rate of approximately two per week. After the initiation courses open to all and free during the month of June, the club has already registered the arrival of new small judokas and has great ambitions on the eve of the 2021 – 2022 season which will start next September.
