Getxo plans the next sports season with 45 different modalities

Getxo is already heating up for the next sports season. A course that wants to put the coronavirus on the bench and that craves adrenaline, energy, health and normalcy after 2020 and 2021 with too many obstacles. For this reason, Getxo Kirolak and the clubs of the municipality already have everything planned for the campaign that will begin in October and which will be a record one. The new offer of courses and activities includes up to 45 modalities different and presents many new features compared to the one that was taught before the sport had to be suspended due to the pandemic in March of last year.

The deadline for pre-registration ends on July 29 and the allocation of places will be done by lottery. The proposals for adults are: indoor cycling, gymnastics, Pilates, yoga, tennis, paddle tennis, dance and swimming. The program includes children’s leisure and multisport activities for boys and girls, between 4 and 14 years old, from four hours from Monday to Friday in the mornings, in which there will be a care service and in which one hour a day will be taught in English. In addition, there will be Grand Slam courses, in which tennis and paddle tennis are practiced, for children between 8 and 16 years old; and swimming classes, taught by the Getxo Igeriketa club, aimed at children between 4 and 17 years old.
