France was scared to death


Trapped by its lack of efficiency and by a guilty defensive relaxation, France ended up equalizing. A lesser evil in the end. But she showed some flaws too.

And then the volcano exploded one last time. Of fury. Of joy. Of pleasure. Like Peter Gulasci.

At the final whistle, the Hungarian goalkeeper melted, giving even more hot contours to a Puskas Arena which turned into a glowing crater. Which, with its flames, almost burned certain French illusions, passing close enough to an immense feat to ultimately turn into a warning for the Blues.
