Football Ligue 1 – Canal +: The CFC maintained without Pierre Ménès and without Ligue 1!

Canal + may no longer broadcast Ligue 1 next season, but Maxime Saada will maintain the Canal Football Club, and that without Pierre Ménès, whose departure is planned amicably or not.

For football fans who subscribe to Canal +, the return may be shocking, since if the encrypted channel has recovered the two best matches of the Champions League, an event that it will share with BeInSports, it has decided to no longer broadcast Ligue 1. Exit therefore the matches of Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening, and more generally goodbye the matches of our Championship. Maxime Saada stole the table after the choice of the Professional Football League to sell the Médiapro lot to Amazon was formalized. For the historic football chain, the slap was violent, but decisions have already been taken, because the return to school is being prepared now within the media.

To this file of Ligue 1, is also added that of Pierre Ménès. There again, the leaders of Canal + did not procrastinate, and despite his enormous popularity, the consultant will not stay. While the two camps are negotiating an amicable departure, internally the Pierre Ménès case is definitively settled and recorded. Without Ligue 1 and without its “star”, the Canal Football Club could seem in great danger, but according to The team, Canal + has decided to keep its favorite show. The CFC will obviously focus more specifically on the Champions League and English football, since the Bolloré group channel has the rights to these competitions, the program which has existed for 13 years no longer having access to the images of Ligue 1. A priori, no additional thunderclap to wait, Hervé Mathoux will be there at the start of the school year on Canal + despite rumors of his possible departure.
