ARNREIT / ULRICHSBERG. In the double round at the weekend, the Bundesliga players of Union Raiffeisen DIALOG telekom Arnreit fought for two clear 4-0 victories and thus made it to the quarter-finals one round before the end of the regular round.
To get to the quarter-finals, victories against DSG SU Hirschbach and Union Reichenthal were a must. But there was no trace of nervousness among the Mühlviertler women: Even on Saturday in front of the home crowd, the players did not let the victory be taken away. And also on Sunday, away in Reichenthal, the team around captain Tanja Gahleitner showed a compact team performance.

The Ulrichsberg fistball players met Union Waldburg away from home at the weekend. However, they found it difficult to get into the game and had to hand over the first three sets to the hosts. Ulrichsberg was able to equalize to 3: 3, but the landlords retained the upper hand in the decisive set.
