ReviewTrackers recently analyzed 130,000 reviews about the release locations of American baseball stadiums, such as Facebook, and made a list of not only the places where you can find the best hot dogs, but also the best you can get Beer selection, the best family and fan experience, and the best stadium.
The following are high-level results:
1. Oriole Park at Camden Yards: The overall ranked first and most highly rated facility.
2. PNC Park: ranked second overall, the most popular stadium for families, and the most acclaimed fan experience.
3. AT&T Park: overall ranked third, food ranked second, hot dogs ranked first.
4. Safeco Field: 4th overall.
5. Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium: 5th overall, 2nd in family experience.
The result was obtained by using the company’s natural language algorithm to identify the emotions in all 130,000 comments. Each of these moments is associated with a keyword. For example, “Hot Dog”.

Beer information is also very interesting. Since the rise of craft beer, many stadiums have received less positive reviews because of the few types of beer to choose from.
Great American Ball Park received the highest honor for its selection of local beer.
They also use big data to determine what to order when you go to the baseball stadium. The highest honor there is barbecue. The data shows that people talk about barbecue four times as often as hot dogs in competitions. Other top picks include popcorn, sausage and corn chips.
This doesn’t mean you should rush to buy barbecue sandwiches in the next big game, but it does show that staying away from traditional peanuts and cookie jacks is not the worst idea.
In other words, I actually ordered a barbecue sandwich when I went to AT&T Park a few weeks ago, and I definitely deserved that hot dog.
