Eight new athletes from four different disciplines have been selected for the Tokyo Olympics by Swiss Olympic. Among them is Giulia Steingruber: fresh from European gold in the vaulting, the Rio 2016 bronze medal will lead the artistic gymnastics team, which will be completed by four men, Pablo Brägger, Christian Baumann, Benjamin Gischard and Eddy Yusof. They too were already present at the previous edition of the Games in South America. The other three who bought tickets for the Japanese event are badminton specialist Sabrina Jaquet, BMX adept Nikita Ducarroz and karateka Elena Quirici.
