This Sunday the 14th BTT of sa Cala de Sant Vicent was held, a test organized by the Es Xebel·lí Cycling Club of Ibiza, which once again collaborated with Aemif (Multiple Sclerosis Association of Ibiza and Formentera), and which had almost a hundred registered.
In the competition, which took place over three laps on an 8-kilometer circuit through the places of Sant Vicent, the cyclist of the host club Efrén Fernández (Es Xebel·lí) won absolute victory in the general classification, with a time from 01.09: 57 hours, after winning the sprint over Juan Antonio Costa (Construcciones S.XXI), after a race in which both runners went together the entire route, being the third position for José Carlos Bernal (Terrenauto-Ajram-PCT) and fourth place for the young Marc Torres (Terrenauto-Ajram-PCT), who in the second round gave a few meters that he could no longer recover, to finally finish with a time of 01.11: 41 hours and take first place in the junior classification.
In the female category, the first place in the general was awarded to the implacable Laura Ríos (GE Es Vedrà), after finishing the race with a time of 01.35: 48 hours, while the second position fell to Nieves Lozano (Master Gym) , ahead of María Roig (JL Pollo Judo GE), who ranked third.
In the under-23 classification, the victory was scored by Alejandro Juan (Master Team Club Esportiu), with a time of 1:12:47.
In cadets, Santiago Zornoza (Master Team Club Esportiu) was the best in the race, after stopping the clock in a time of 01.25: 58 hours at the finish line.
