Shortly after announcing its return with the EA Sports PGA Tour, Electronic Arts gives a layer by specifying that non-professional tournaments will also be integrated. Very good news for all fans of the discipline.
Last March, Electronic Arts proudly announced the development ofEA Sports PGA Tour, thus signing the big comeback of its video game golf franchise. So little information has been given so far – no trailer has been released, for example – we already know that the game will integrate a solid career mode with the four main majors of the discipline, that is to say the biggest existing competitions.
Where the title nevertheless intends to make the difference is by also offering amateur tournaments: Thus, we learn via Twitter that the US Open Championship will be offered, with the Torrey Pines fields and, for the first time in a video game, the Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. Very important parts of the single player campaign since they will probably allow the character to make himself known in order to participate in professional organizations.
Alas, EA Sports PGA Tour does not yet have a precise release date but we know that it will be released in the spring of 2022 and that it will be produced under Frostbite. We are also waiting to know the machines concerned.
