Djokovic beat another Federer record

Novak Djokovic (1st) beat another Roger Federer record: With his victory against Musetti in five sets, the Serbian reached 31, more than any other tennis player on the men’s circuit.

Djokovic and Federer had 30 wins in five-set matches, while Pete Sampras (now retired) has 29. Djokovic turned the story around against Musetti and thus was left alone at the top.

The Serbian beat Musetti 6-7 (7), 6-7 (2), 6-1, 6-0 and 4-0 (retirement) and took another step in Paris, passing for the 49th time to the quarterfinals final in the Grand Slam championships.

In the quarterfinals, he will face Matteo Berrettini, who went through the rounds for the Swiss Roger Federer’s walkover. Thus, the Serbian will face another Italian at the French Open.

Thus, the No. 1 in the world continues to make history. And it never conforms …
