Challenge de Espana: Santiago Tarrio wins, Frédéric Lacroix second

After three remarkable first laps in 67 (-5), 67 (-5) and 66 (-6), Frédéric Lacroix would have liked to make a last part similar to the first three to win his first title in the Challenge Tour. In the last part this Friday, the Racingman achieved until the start of the 17th, the perfect part, 5 birdies for 0 bogey.

The Tour in sight

Arrived at the start of the 17th with a head start on Tarrio (-21 total), Lacroix concluded this Challenge de Espana with two bogeys, enough to feed some regrets. With this 69 (-3) final, for a total of -19, the pupil of Franck Lorenzo-Vera finished on the second step of the podium alongside Bled Windred and Ewen Ferguson. 60th in the Road to Mallorca before the tournament, the Frenchman is now 22nd and is relaunching himself in the race to climb the European Tour.
