Braunschweig’s coach Strobl goes to Giessen

Braunschweig. According to information from the specialist magazine “BIG”, the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig are starting the 2021/22 season with a new head coach. Accordingly, the previous trainer Pete Strobl will move to the Gießen 46ers and will succeed Rolf Scholz there.
The personnel comes as a surprise, as Strobl had led the Lower Saxony with mostly German players to a good ninth place this season and narrowly missed the playoffs. NBA star Dennis Schröder from the Los Angeles Lakers is the sole shareholder of the Braunschweig group.
