Bell’s overwhelming victory against Timbúes

It was 112-74 within the framework of the last date of the regular phase of the Central Division although it was not enough to qualify. The albinegro dominated the match played in Temperley de Rosario at will.

The local had no chance of continuing in the competition while Bell needed to win to have a chance to continue in the contest, although depending on the result of Suardi and Independiente de Oliva. This situation was evidenced by the launch of the game.

Bell came out to play a final and cornered Timbúes with a remarkable display of offensive and defensive resources. Sieiro, Faure and Falistocco were transformed into lethal weapons, under the successful leadership of Facundo Toia, of good production on his return.

Timbúes tried to stay in the game with will, but without resources to face the dilemmas presented by the visit. Bell’s effectiveness began to impact the result and the first set closed with a resounding 31 to 14.

The second quarter was a monologue by Bell who ruled the party with authority, without giving respite for the local to attempt a reaction. Even in player rotation, Pujol’s team continued to find answers. Good income for Marcos Helman, against a Timbues that seemed to hold only on the individual arrests of Meinero and Stival.

The first half ended 61-35 for the visitor, a result that clearly showed what happened in the process of the game. The second half passed in a similar vein. Falistocco and Sieiro continued intractable (56 points between them) and Bell dominated all instances of the game. Timbúes endured the adverse process with great dignity and the Bell Ville team continued to stretch figures, achieving a resounding closing from 112 to 74.

The meeting marked the end of the season for the two as they failed to qualify for the next instance. Despite his victory, Bell remained in fifth place in the standings due to Suardi’s victory against Independiente de Oliva in overtime. Timbúes, meanwhile, finished in eighth place.
