Bayern basketball players extend with successful coach Trinchieri
Coach Andrea Trinchieri has extended his contract with Bayern.

Munich. FC Bayern has been able to keep its successful basketball coach Andrea Trinchieri and has signed a new contract until 2023.
The Italian came to Munich a year ago and brought Bayern to the Cup, the Bundesliga final and the first German team to reach the quarter-finals of the Euroleague. “This almost perfect year is only supposed to be the beginning,” said managing director Marko Pesic in a statement on Tuesday.
The 52-year-old Trinchieri had hesitated to extend his one-year contract during the extremely long and exhausting season with 90 games. Now he is “just happy” to stay in Munich.
