The Consultative Commission for Olympic Selections (CCSO) on Tuesday validated the list of the four athletes of the French badminton team for the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer (23 July – 8 August). The list includes Brice Leverdez in men’s singles, Xuefei Qi in women’s singles, and the pair Thom Gicquel – Delphine Delrue in mixed doubles. Following the postponement of India Open (originally scheduled for May 11-16), Malaysia (May 25-30 initially) and Singapore (June 1-6) on dates still unknown, there was therefore no competition remaining to qualify for Olympic qualification.
