Humbert prevailed in the semifinals on Saturday against the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime 6: 4, 3: 6, 7: 6 (7: 5).
After the successes in Antwerp and Auckland in 2020, it is the third final on the ATP tour for the 22-year-old Humbert. In the round of 16, he defeated Alexander Zverev in three sets.
Auger-Aliassime also achieved a great victory in Halle: the 20-year-old defeated ten-time tournament winner Roger Federer (Switzerland). After the grass tournament in Stuttgart last week, where he lost in the final against the Croatian Marin Cilic, he missed the next finals.
