Asya Tavano received at Palazzo D’Aronco

Mayor Pietro Fontanini and the Councilor for sport Antonio Falcone received at Palazzo D’Aronco Asia Tavano, a 19-year-old judoka from Udine who recently won the title of Italian Junior champion in Velletri in the +78 kilos, confirming for the third consecutive time at the top of her category. To accompany her Luigi Girardi, judo master black belt 6 dan and President and Technical Director of the Asd Sport Team Judo Udine, and the coach Renzo Barbarotto member of the technical staff that the Udine club has built around this prestigious athlete.

An important result, the one conquered by Asya in Velletri in view of the European Championship and the Juniores World Championship which will take place respectively in September and October 2021. It is in function of these two important appointments that the athlete from Udine has recently been convened with the national team for a one-week retreat, to then participate in the European Cup Juniores in Coimbra in Portugal on 3 and 4 July.
