Artūrs Karašausks leaves “Liepāja” – Football Premier League – Football

“Liepāja” reports that Karašauskas left the team by mutual agreement.

Karašauskas has participated in ten Super League games this season, playing all 90 minutes in eight of them. He stood out with four goals scored, but did not go on the field in the last three fights in the last month.

Last season, 29-year-old Karašauskas scored eight goals in 19 games, which was the second best result among Latvian footballers. He assisted in six more goals and was the sixth best player in the Premier League.

The Latvian striker “Liepāja” also represented in 2017 and 2018, helping it to win the Latvian Cup twice.

In Latvia, he also represented the “Riga” team, being rented from the Cypriot club “Paphos”, where he came from another domestic unit RFS, without playing a single match in the second club in the capital.

Karašauskas spent a large part of his career in the now bankrupt Riga “Skonto” team, but he has also repeatedly worked as a legionnaire and been in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Switzerland and Kazakhstan.

“Liepāja” triumphed in the Latvian Cup last year and this season will play in the UEFA European Conference League. In the Premier League, Liepāja Club is in fourth place.
