How many Valais athletes will be present in Tokyo, from July 23 to August 8? Lucas Malcotti already has his ticket. Priscilla Morand and Lore Hoffmann almost validated it.
In 2016, no less than four of them qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio: cyclists Steve Morabito and Sébastien Reichenbach, athlete Clélia Rard-Reuse – semi-finalist in the 100 meters hurdles – and the fencer Tiffany Géroudet.
How many will they be next July? It will probably be difficult to do that well. 45 days before the opening ceremony, only Lucas Malcotti is guaranteed to board the plane. He shouldn’t be the only one, however.
