BOLASPORT.COM – After being introduced, foreign striker Persebaya Surabaya, Jose Wilkson Teixeira Rocha immediately joined the team training on Wednesday (9/6/2021) afternoon.

The Brazilian striker trained with his new team-mates at the Gelora Stadium on November 10, Surabaya.

Interestingly, Jose Wilkson was able to join the training even though he had just undergone a medical test.

This is different from Persebaya’s first foreign player, Taisei Marukawa, who had to train separately for a week.

Persebaya coach, Aji Santoso assessed that Jose Wilkson’s physical condition was ideal enough to allow him to practice with the team.

“Wilkson has started training today, I see that from his skills there are no problems,” said Aji Santoso, quoted from the East Java Tribune.

“I see from the touch and from the way he plays it’s quite okay, indeed his physical condition is definitely not 100 percent,” he added.
