2021 NCAA Baseball Tournament Regionals: Dates, TV Channels, Schedule
The Regionals phase of the NCAA baseball tournament will end on Monday, eight places in the Super Regionals are still available.
Seven of the eight teams that have already earned a spot in the next round were seeded at the start of the tournament, with Arkansas being a notable exception.
The Razorbacks began the NCAA tournament as the first seeded team, but their progress was halted by a 5-3 loss to Nebraska on Sunday, which broke a 10-game winning streak and just a day after Arkansas’s 5-1 win came against the Cornhuskers.
Arkansas, which finished the regular season 48:11, and Nebraska, which won 34:12, will meet for the third time in a few days on Monday to determine the winner of the Fayetteville Regional.
Stanford and Oregon, the No. 9 and No. 14 seeding lists, face UC Irvine and LSU in the Stanford and Eugene Regionals, respectively, while No. 7 Mississippi State faces Campbell in the Starkville Regional.
Number 11 on the seeding list, Old Dominion, will face Virginia in the Columbia Regional and number 12 on the seeding list, Ole Miss, will play Southern Mississippi in the Oxford Regional finals.
Elsewhere, South Florida and South Alabama clash in the Gainesville Regional, with South Alabama leading 5-4, which could bring the decision.
