2 matches, 2 possibilities to finish or to offer us Game 7 this weekend

The evening of Wednesday was agitated with two twists of theater in the Game 5 of the two series which we find this evening. On the one hand, the Hawks knocked down the Sixers after being up to 26 points behind in Philadelphia. On the other, the Clippers went to seek an unexpected victory in the Jazz. Tonight, we’ll take the same ones and start over.

1h30 : Hawks – Sixers : it is the story of one of the most beautiful chokes in history, the third biggest comeback in 25 years. Philly got off to a good start but the second half, especially the last quarter, was just miserable and the Hawks valiantly came back to hold up, with merit in the end, the Wells Fargo Center. Trae Young has been fabulous (39 points, 7 assists), like since the start of these Playoffs and doesn’t seem to need a break at the pit stop. Joel Embiid (37 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists) and Seth Curry (36 points, 7 rebounds) were very good and were especially the only Sixers to score a real basket in the second half. Atlanta has things in hand to conclude this series at home, at the State Farm Arena, while Philly is back to the wall and it’s win or go home for them. Jojo is questionable, as since the beginning of this series and since the last four years, because of his right knee but as Deen Burbigo would say: “Even under colossal fatigue we only practice dirty”. Ben Simmons has no injuries but was completely absent in the second half. Doc Rivers did not, as usual, not know how to control his players and win this match which was almost all cooked. It is to be hoped that in the opposite situation he will be able to find the words and the systems so that Philadelphia does not play like in the fourth quarter last night.

4h : Clippers – Jazz : So there if someone saw the Clippers win at the Vivint Smart Home Arena without Kawhi Leonard during Game 5, he or she drops his email address in comments and all his next sports bets planned. The Clips will always be deprived of the Klaw for their home game, a home that will be, drumbeat… FULL! The Staples Center will be able to accommodate its 19,060 supporters to try to push LA to finish this series now. Will they show their mentality like during these Playoffs or will they fall back into their Los Angeles Chokers vices? Paul George is going to have to give us another XXXL performance with extra tray of fries since it is thanks to his 37 points, and 25 for Morris Sr. and 22 for Reggie Jackson that Utah could not resist. The same Jazz who may be deprived of two of its stars since Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley are listed questionables. For Spida, it’s always his ankle the problem, he who says he has changed his game according to his ankle, basically he can no longer unleash explosive dunks on PG13, Ivica Zubac, Tyronn Lue and Steve Ballmer. Mike Conley has injured his right hamstring, and if he can’t play we’ll have to watch Paul George and Joe Ingles bicker all night long. Salt Lake City is also stupidly in a situation of win or go home very tense where they will have to play their best basketball to scratch a decisive Game 7 at home this Sunday.

Two games with enormous tension for Utah and Philadelphia: either you win or you go on vacation to Pierre & Vacances in Bormes-les-Mimosas faster than expected. For Atlanta and Los Angeles: either you win or you go to a Game 7 to delight basketball fans around the world.
