2 Bronzes in the Cto.de Asturias Junior
It has not been the beginning that we would have liked, but at least it has been the beginning of the competitions in Asturias after more than a long year of pandemic.
Sergio Arias -60 opened the competition without much success in a league in which he cannot get into the medal drawer. One day for Sergio we know that although the league was tough, our judoka could have shown much more.
Following the hand of Candela Castellano -63, we would enjoy what would be the best moment of the competition after winning a match in a high-level league and getting a place on the podium hanging the bronze.
Bad luck for Elena Álvarez -52 who was injured in the second fight of her league for the medals, depriving her of continuing with the competition, even so, bronze for Elena.
Luckily the big blow he received to the face only left him in a severe contusion and we all wish him a speedy recovery.
Excited about the return to competitions, now, it’s time to keep working.
