An incredible evolution to discover in a surprising way.

UA street art wall representing different images of Youri Tielemans was inaugurated this Sunday. Here is the press release:

“Tielemans recently scored the only goal in the FA CUP final, securing the first ever FA CUP title for his club Leicester City. The wall is a stone’s throw from Anderlecht stadium, the club where he began to make history by being the first player to make 10 Champions League appearances before his 18th birthday. Youri has always been a special player and with this initiative, the Management Team Let’s Play wishes to honor him for these glorious moments, convinced that this is only the beginning.

This street art wall depicts different stages in the life of Youri Tielemans as a player.

Image of a young man, a whirlwind avoiding his opponent

Already at a young age, Tielemans stood out as a player, already functioning as the brain of the coach on the pitch and dictating the tempo of the game by uniquely combining his subtle kick and man-to-man power, while cleverly avoiding his opponents. This ability, acquired at a young age when practicing judo, he inherited from his parents, both experienced judokas.

Image of a young Belgian prodigy showing the stadium where he made history

The young Belgian prodigy made European history by playing 10 Champions League matches before his 18th birthday. The wall is a stone’s throw from the Anderlecht stadium where he made his Champions League debut at the age of 16, where he won two national titles, two Belgian cups and many other individual prizes thereafter.

A leader who inspires the football community

Youri propelled his team into the history of the FA CUP. He is a born leader, on and off the pitch, blessed with a natural flair, caring and endearing smile that characterizes his positive personality. Love for this game and his family is what drives him every day and is an inspiration to those around him.

This Street Art wall is an initiative of the Management Team Let’s Play, which has supported Youri since the start of his career, present during the first glorious moments and convinced that there will be many more.

Let’s Play worked in collaboration with Bart Smeets, who in the art world is called Smates. He specializes in hyperrealistic and photorealistic graffiti, inspired by the specificities of the wall, such as form and environment. He plays with 3D, perspectives and hues to take his murals to a whole new level and thus create an extremely detailed and realistic work of art ”.
