Trae is unheard of in the century … except for Steph Curry!

Still excellent this Sunday night against the Knicks, Trae Young continues to write his story and make his way into the record books. Proof of this is that he has just validated something never seen in the century… with the exception of a certain Steph Curry.

After a very complicated start to the season and a necessary change of coach, the Hawks have shown a whole new face in recent months. A rediscovered attack and a collective that highlights itself: beyond Trae Young, players like Bogdan Bogdanovic, or Danilo Gallinari excel, and that makes all the difference.

Opposed to the Knicks for this first round, Nate McMillan’s troops appear largely above the New Yorkers, led by an Ice Trae in tune. This Sunday evening, there was also no suspense between the two teams.

Back from the locker room, a little boost allowed the Hawks to easily dominate the Knicks on the score of 113-96, and now the franchise of Georgia now leads 3-1 in this first round of the playoffs, one foot and semi in conference semifinals. With 27 points and 9 assists, Trae Young was one of the major architects of success… and it pays off in the history books!

Players with 25 points and 10 assists on average over the first 4 career playoff games.

Trigga Trae therefore joins Steph Curry in the 21st century, he who had achieved this feat in 2013 for his first playoffs. A good stat for Young, who confirms that he is already very comfortable at this time of the season, even if the hardest part is yet to come.

Trae Young has assumed since the start of the series, and this statistic confirms it again. The future looks bright for the Hawks, and the accession to the next round is more than ever very close.
