The Cincinnati Masters 1000, unlimited spectators

The Masters 1000 and the WTA 1000 in Cincinnati, set from August 14 to 22, will be played without limit of spectators in the stands, as announced by the organization of the event. All seats will be put on sale and the venue may have full capacity for all its matches and days.

“In agreement with members of the local government, we look forward to welcoming the fans,” said tournament director of operations Katie Haas. “The fans bring so much energy and excitement to our event that we missed them so much last year.”

In any case, the organization advises the implementation of the necessary protocols for the health and safety of all attendees, which may be established, as determined by local authorities, at any time, before or during the event.

In addition, the competition will be held again in Cincinnati, in its usual venue, after having to be moved to New York last year due to the restrictions established by COVID 19.

Belarusian Victoria Azarenka won the women’s singles tournament and Serbian Novak Djokovic won the men’s.
