The Bucks crush the Heat again! | NBA

Swept away during Game 2, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo had announced that they would be proud of this third round, and that we would see the real Heat. That of last season, imperial in the “bubble”. Beautiful words…

Far too “soft” defensively, Miami quietly leaves Milwaukee to put his game in place in attack. Without aggression, difficult to revolt, and like Tuesday, Jrue Holiday finds Bryn Forbes on 3-point transition then Bobby Portis on pick and roll. Two easy shots that symbolize the ease of the Bucks, and their domination (21-8).

On his bench, Erik Spoelstra motivates his troops and the public present in large numbers in Miami pushes behind… At 3-points, Jimmy Butler and Andre Iguodala try to wake up their teammates, but these two actions are only flashes, and after twelve minutes, the Bucks are already in control (26-14).

Jrue Holiday’s masterclass

Much better than in the first two matches, Butler leads by example and they are fighting to score. It is he who allows his team to come back below the 10 point mark (29-20). Opposite, do not worry, Holiday takes his place on the field in order to dictate the tempo of this match and put an end to the hopes of the Heat. Having come to Wisconsin to help Giannis win a title, Holiday teaches his counterparts a lesson.

In the wake of its playmaker, Milwaukee unfolds and the efforts of Bam Adebayo and Butler are wasted. Collectively, there is a world of difference between the two teams and the Heat do not have the defensive solutions. Faced with a Giannis so physically strong and always altruistic at the right time, Miami cannot just see the damage. So precious during the last playoffs, Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson are struggling to find good spots. At the break, Miami is not dropped (49-36) but the impression left by Milwaukee is impressive.

The collective power of the Bucks

In the starting five to compensate for Donte DiVincenzo’s foot injury, Bryn Forbes stood out. Constantly sought after at the end of the system by his teammates, the former Spurs shooter again has his wrist on fire. On his own, he destroyed the hopes of a comeback of Butler’s teammates (59-42).

The Heat do not want to die, but the 2020 finalists cannot make this run which could allow them to return in this part. On the contrary, they are starting to crack … And as always, Jrue Holiday is creating or shifting to allow PJ Tucker in the corner and then Pat Connaughton to score (77-52).

Transformed compared to last season, the Bucks finish strong this 3rd act. After having feasted by the pass, Holiday also takes advantage of the opposing defensive largesse to score. 12 minutes from the end of the game, Milwaukee is heading for a third straight victory (86-60).

Jimmy Butler head down …

The Bucks respect their opponents and they’re not going to give them any hope. Tonight, the “Greek Freak” will not have needed to force his scoring talent, but in this 4th quarter, he is showing a little more aggressive. Especially in the rebounds where he flies over the debates. Like its public, the Heat is without reaction. On each attack, Milwaukee finds a different solution with the shots of Connaughton or Middleton, the drives of Holiday or the presence of low post of Lopez.

The Bucks give a new lesson in basketball and the gap reaches 30 points (105-75). The Bucks want to take advantage of every minute on the floor to further improve their collective game. Finally, the executives of the Bucks can go to rest on the bench for the end of the game, with the feeling of duty accomplished and the desire to finish the job in the next game.

For the Heat, it is a very big defeat more (113-84) and it will now simply be necessary to save the honor.
