After the end of the 1st stage of the Professional Basketball League, it’s now time for the second stage, more decisive than the first with more desire and commitment. The top of this stage will be given this weekend with several posters on the program.

After the zonal phase, the challenge is now national where the qualified teams must fight for the conquest of the final trophy for men. And, as stipulated by the formula of the Professional Basketball League, Aspac de Cotonou and Élan de Porto-Novo in Zone A; and Aspal from Parakou, Réal Sports from Parakou, Panthères from Djougou, Bosco Star from Parakou in Zone B are qualified for the next round of the Benin Pro Basketball League and will be split into two pools. Aspac from Cotonou, Réal Sports from Parakou and Panthères from Djougou make up Pool A while Bosco Star, Aspal from Parakou, Elan Sportif from Porto-Novo will animate Pool B. The 1st day of this 2nd phase is played, this Saturday 29th May 2021 with two sizable posters. Another challenge for these teams which must this time raise their level of play. Cotonou, Porto-Novo, Parakou and Djougou are the cities that will host the various matches of this second phase until July 3, 2021.

Championship finished for women

Among the ladies, the championship has already seen its epilogue with the coronation of Aspac Bbc. To be sacred, the ladies of coach Landry Adognon conceded a single loss and won four of the five matches in the series. They have shown during their course, consistency and impressive know-how. With commitment and determination, they achieved their goal.

Cotonou: Aspac # Réal Sports at 4 p.m.

Parakou: Aspal # Elan Sport Pro at 5 p.m.
