Following the example of Ester Ledecká, however, Barbora Krejčíková intends to continue to bother her opponents on two fronts. “I take every match as an experience, because I broke through the singles only last year. I fight for every ball and I enjoy playing singles at the highest level. I want to stay at this level and play singles and doubles well. I’m glad I’m here. and I entertain people, “she said after the scalp of former world number four Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia.

Barbora Krejčíková is one of the few tennis players in the elite fifty who successfully fights in singles or doubles.
