Sport is not just a motor activity but represents a personal and physical growth experience that is one of the most important for the correct development of children and teenagers. The burdens of these activities are sometimes unsustainable for families who, albeit reluctantly, have to opt out of sports. The provincial agency for the family, birth rate and youth policies has responded to these requests with an innovative tool, the “sports voucher”, which consists of an economic contribution to help families meet these costs. Families interested in applying for the voucher must submit an application to the Valley Communities / Municipalities to which they belong in the period between 1 April 2021 and 30 June 2021. Families with children aged between 8 years can apply for a contribution. completed and 18 years old at the time of submitting the application. The contribution concerns the 2021/2022 sports season.
122 Sports associations have joined the project and offer a wide and heterogeneous range of sports activities, including: swimming, basketball, volleyball, judo, hockey, tennis, cycling, skiing, dance, oriental arts, artistic gymnastics, fitness, ice skating, etc. Of these 122 sports associations, 21 are already in possession of the “Family in Trentino” brand while the others have undertaken, within two 2 years from the date of joining the project, to obtain this certification as a guarantee of consistency with family policies proposed by the Family Agency. With the “Family in Trentino” certification, the Associations have in fact chosen to invest in the educational and socializing function of the proposed sporting activity, implementing concrete services for families and respecting certain family quality standards with particular attention to families. numerous, single-parent families and where there are situations of hardship. Contribution recipients:
- Minor or equivalent children aged between 8 and 18 years old
- Economic condition required: families benefiting from quota A) of the AUP 2020; large families benefiting from quota B1) of the AUP 2020
- Residence in a municipality participating in the project
- Possession of the EuregioFamilyPass card (downloadable for free here: https://fcard.trentinofamiglia.it/)
The contribution it is differentiated on the basis of the ICEF economic condition of the requesting parent and precisely:
- Contribution € 200.00 for each minor child of families to benefit from quota A) of the AUP 2020 (and must have received at least one month’s salary in the year preceding that of submitting the application)
- Contribution € 100.00 for each minor child of large families benefiting from quota B1 of the AUP 2020 (and must have received at least one month’s salary in the year preceding that of submitting the application).
Deadline
Families with the requirements described above can apply for a contribution between 1st April 2021 and 30th June 2021, by means of a specific application form, to be sent to the community of the valley / municipality of belonging.
