Sports Québec: the region well represented

After Boisbriannaise Isabelle Ducharme, recently appointed to the general management of Sports Québec, Patrick Kearney, from Sainte-Thérèse, joins the board of directors of this organization as a director.

Patrick Kearney is well known in the region, he who is notably general manager of the Santa Teresa Festival which will be presented in Sainte-Thérèse from May 19 to 23. While the Sacred Shows will take place at the Church of Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila ($), two series of free shows will also be presented on the event’s social networks.

« I am very happy with my appointment in the last Sports Quebec election. I am happy to be able to make my contribution to this organization which is the voice of sports in Quebec and which is also responsible for the Quebec Games. », Indicated Patrick Kearney, also involved with REFRAIN, an organization which brings together the independent artistic festivals of the province, as president of the board, and with Judo Quebec, where he is also president of the board.

If he chose to get involved in Sports Quebec, it is not to preach for his favorite sport, judo, but above all to share his experience.

« It is clearly my knowledge of the Quebec Games that led me to sit on the Board of Sports Quebec. I have participated in more than 22 Finals of these Games. Patrick Kearney added that he was very happy with the appointment as director of Sports Quebec of Isabelle Ducharme, whom he has known for more than 20 years.

« It’s really a nice catch for Sports-Quebec. She really knows the sports world inside and out and enjoys a large network at the level of the federations and the Quebec Games community. I think she’s the perfect fit for that! »
