Bundesliga club FC Augsburg presented Lasse Günther, 18, as the first entry for the coming season. The offensive player comes from the youth of the record champions Bayern Munich free of charge and receives a contract until 2025 with the option of a one-year extension. “We trust him to take the immediate step into our Bundesliga team and want to continue working on his development in the new season,” said managing director Stefan Reuter. Günther has played 13 games for the junior national teams of the German Football Association so far, from the U16 to the U18. In addition, he was used five times in the third division in the reserve of the German champions in the past season.
