SOCCAVO (Naples) – Saturday 29 May at 12.30 the murals of the Soccavo Multifunctional Center will be inaugurated by Alessandro Ciambrone and donated to the Municipality of Naples as an action of care and commitment for the young people of Naples in all the districts of the city.
The murals are born from an idea shared with Alessandra Clemente, Councilor for Heritage and Youth, and Diego Occhiuzzi, world champion of saber and president of the Milleculure Association. The project is part of a series of murals designed by Alessandro Ciambrone and Alessandra Clemente for all the districts of the city.
The first was built for the Women’s and Children Anti-violence Center of the Municipal Police in via Alessandro Poerio 21, near Piazza Garibaldi. The second mural, which will be inaugurated this Saturday, is on the entrance wall of the Soccavo Multifunctional, where the “Na.gio.ja” youth center is located, a mural dedicated to the historic center of Naples and its most beloved champion, Diego Armando Maradona.
Alessandro Ciambrone will also promote free painting lessons to young people and students of the city and the districts where the Soccavo and Rione Traiano center is located at the Polyfunctional, with the Artists of the MIACE (International Museum of Contemporary Art Euro-Mediterranean). The Soccavo Multifunctional will become a real artistic park curated by Alessandro Ciambrone.
In collaboration with the Milleculure cultural association, murals will also be created at the Polifunzionale dedicated to the sporting champions of Campania: Patrizio Oliva (boxing); Pino Maddaloni (judo); Abbagnale brothers (rowing); Massimiliano Rosolino (swimming); Franco Porzio (water polo); Antonella Del Core (volleyball); Imma Cerasuolo (Paralympic swimming); Rossana Pasquino (Paralympic fencing); Diego Occhiuzzi (fencing).
