London

Harry Kane became the top scorer in the Premier League for the 2020/2021 season, followed by Bruno Fernandes. But if there are no goals from penalties, what about the list of top scorers?

Harry Kane, the Tottenham Hotspur striker, won the Premier League golden boot for the 2020/2021 season. Kane became the Premier League’s top scorer after collecting 23 goals, narrowly ahead of Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah with 22 goals.

In succession there are Bruno Fernandes with 18 goals and followed by Son Heung-min and Patrick Bamford with 17 goals each.

Reporting from The Sun, it is revealed that the top score of the Premier League for the 2020/2021 season is calculated without penalty goals. Will it change the existing top score list?

The results were surprising. Without goals from the spot, Harry Kane is still in the top number with a collection of 19 goals. Salah also remains in second with 16 goals, but Son and Dominic Calvert-Lewin stick tightly against him with the same number of goals.

In fact, there are several other names such as Ollie Watkins (13 goals) then Ilkay Gundongan and Kelechi Iheanacho each with 12 goals.

Interestingly, Bruno Fernandes was knocked off the list. Fernandes only made nine goals without penalty, aka half of his total goals.
