Ashley Young is on the eve of a special transfer at the age of 35, reports Sky Sports. The 39-time international of England seems to return to Watford after more than fourteen years, the club where it all started for him.
Young played his first game on behalf of in September 2003 (!) The Hornets and moved to Aston Villa in January 2007. There he made it to the England national team and made a transfer to Manchester United. The multifunctional defender cum midfielder has been playing for a year and a half International, but runs out of his contract with the brand new Serie A champion.
So now a return to Vicarage Road beckons. According to Sky Sports there is already a one-year contract ready for Young and only the personal conditions for the transfer have to be discussed. When the deal comes around, Young will be in the Premier League to admire: Watford relegated to the Championship last summer, but has finished as number two and returns after one year.
