Pamiers. Badminton: Good performance by BCAP in Font-Romeu

The badminton interclub competition has just resumed. The BCAP is participating for the second time in its history with a trip to Font Romeu to start the season. For this first day out of five scheduled for the year, the Pamiers team met Muret and then Saint-Orens. The results are good overall with an expanded BCAP roster and a new captain, Pascal Fournie, youth coach at the club. “Against Muret, the games were very hotly contested and we played 4 matches everywhere out of the 8 possible in single man, single lady, double man, double lady and mixed” indicates the staff of the BCAP. The encounters are linked all day long, you have to hold the racket in hand, have legs, technique and a good mind too. Faced with Saint-Orens, a team that seems to be the strongest in the pool, the BCAP bowed 6 times and won two matches in men’s and women’s doubles. “A rather good and encouraging start for this first day at the end of this difficult trip against experienced teams at this level of the competition. The second will take place in Pamiers at the Bayle gymnasium on November 8 and we will meet the teams of Font- Romeu and Castelnaudary with a definite advantage, this time we are playing at home “indicates the Appamean badminton club.
